A few days after having Purdue head coach Matt Painter in the stands for one of his games, Ft. Wayne Bishop Dwenger 6'8" sophomore standout Tony Springmann had one of his best games to date in a 81-61 win over rival Southwood. Playing without the services of senior big man and Notre Dame football recruit Tyler Eifert (back), Springmann went off for 22 points and ten rebounds in the win. With games like these, expect the 2011 big man's name to be popping up on more and more college coaches' radars. He is part of a solid sophomore class of post players, including Chesterton's Mitch McGary, Terre Haute North's Justin Gant, Lawrence North's Ryan Taylor and Michael Chandler, Washington's Cody Zeller, and Howe's Isaiah Hill.
