Bearcats Rally to Beat Millers

In an MLK Day thriller, Muncie Central rallied from ten down to begin the fourth quarter t beat Noblesville 55-52. The Bearcats outscored the Millers 22-9 in the final frame, including finishing the game on a 12-3 run after trailing 49-43. The game was won at the charity line, where Muncie Central shot twenty more free throws (28) than Noblesville, and made 15 more, with twenty makes as opposed to five for the Millers. The Bearcats overcame a poor shooting game by senior leader Jauwan Sciafe, a Ball State recruit, who went 1-11 from the field, but 10-11 from the line. Sophomore standout Jeremiah Davis, who has offers from IU, Kentucky, and Purdue finished with 12 points on 4-9 shooting. Noblesville was led by Jake Yeary, who had a career high 22 points.
