Poll Results: Best Freshman in the State

Well, the votes are in and tallied, and the public has spoken. The recent poll turned out to be a two-horse race, really as expected. The clear cut leaders for the best frosh came down to North Central 6'3 guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera and Broad Ripple 6'3 guard Ron Patterson. With nearly 200 total votes, there were plenty to go around. In the end, Indiana hoops fans selected Smith-Rivera over Patterson. Smith-Rivera notched 97 total votes for 49% of the total, while Patterson got 61 votes for 31% total. AJ Hammons of Carmel and Kellon Thomas of Southport both had eight votes, while Joel Smith of Heritage Christian had seven. Raphael Davis of Ft. Wayne South Side got three, and "Other" claimed 12 votes.
