Mitch McGary Gets Big Offer

One of the many recruits at the IU vs. Minnesota game yesterday was 6'9 Chesterton sophomore Mitch McGary, a 2011 prospect who is having a great season. On the heels of his visit to Bloomington to see the Hoosiers, McGary was the pleased recipient of an official offer from Matt Painter and the Purdue Boilermakers. This looks like it could turn into another IU/Purdue battle for the services of this great young post prospect. He is one of many 2011 post recruits from the state who is garnering attention from D1 schools, with the likes of Washington's Cody Zeller, Dwenger's Tony Springmann, and Terre Haute North's Justin Gant being a few of the others.
