Jordan Bowerman Update

One of the top unsigned seniors in the state is Leo's 6'7 forward Jordan Bowerman. According to some of the college coaches I have spoken to, Bowerman has flown under the radar, but would be a fantastic fit for a high-caliber NAIA or Division II school looking for an extremely productive big man. Bowerman is coming back off a fractured wrist that caused him to miss four games, but prior to that, he was putting up some serious, stat-stuffing numbers of 21 points and 10 rebounds a game. There is still an outside chance, depending on how the rest of the regular season, and especially the postseason, goes that he could end up at a low or mid-major D1 school. Check the link below to read about Bowerman's season so far.

This young man is AMAZING to watch!! He has so much talent as well as leadership skills! Some school will be lucky to bring him to their program!

Bowerman shows so much passion on the court and with his teammates. He's SUCH a talented player and will only continue to succeed with whatever program is lucky enough to get him.

i am a big leo fan. a large part of my family lives there and my cousins, the clark boys, all played ball for leo under coach butt and bollier. i like bowerman a lot and i do think he'll be a success at whatever level he plays.

coming from a students stand point i can probably come off a little biased...but in my own opinion and seeing every game that jordan has played in, he was averaging 21 points and 11 rebounds (give or take one or two on the rebounds not 100% on that stat) a game, he is one of the states best big men. However, jordan is coming off a wrist fracture and he missed 4 games. he cant play as intense as he used to but when his wrist is 100% im sure he will be putting up the big numbers like he used to. not to say he isnt blocking shots, getting rebounds, and still putting leo at 15th in the state...

Bowerman will be a great D2 player.

I agree Bowerman could be a good D-II post player but I personally think he'd be a better wing at a mid-major D-I. He has ball handling skills, good vision, great hands & is a fine passer. He has jumps & plays a fine all around game. Ball St. or Butler shld. grab him.

Just saw that Jordan Bowerman announced that he will continue his basketball career at Bethel College. What a great pickup for the Pilots. Here's the link: http://www.bethelhoops.com/
