AJ Hammons Update

One of the top freshmen in the state is Carmel's AJ Hammons, a 6'10 center who simply oozes with upside. He is a transfer to the Indy suburb and has been a solid contributor in his first season of high school hoops. In all likelihood, Hammons will become a dominant force on the Indiana high school scene in the very near future, what with his current size and strength in addition to the great tutelage he'll get from Carmel coach Mark Galloway. Here is a brand new write up from the IndyStar on the big ninth grader who is being watched closely by IU and Purdue, and many other colleges.

How much athleticism would you say Hammons has P-Hoops? Is it something he is going to need to work on? He is definitely a big boy.

Z-

he has good athleticism. he is not a plodding big boy by any means, but he still hasn't totally grown into his frame. once he does, unstoppable.

I posted a video about AJ Hammons on YouTube yesterday. Most of the footage was shot at the Carmel/Bloomington South game. My video can be found at this link: AJ Hammons - Carmel High School
