A surprising fact about the North Central Panthers is that they have only won a conference title once since the inception of the MIC Conference, and that was a shared title with Lawrence North back in 1998-1999. Today, one of the top games in the state is undoubtedly a game that could decide the winner of one of the top conferences in the entire nation, as the Panthers take on the Terre Haute South Braves led by Jake Odum, the current leader in the MIC. The Braves sit alone at number one at 5-1, while the Panthers are right behind at 4-1. The game, played in Terre Haute, tips off at 2:30 and could spell the fate of both squads: outright winners, or back in the thick of things. Which will it be? Check back later on for the results! Included is a link to an IndyStar article about the game.
