After not seeing Howe's 6'9 junior wing Jordan Maunel in the box scores for their last two games, which were two wins against Arlington and Crispus Attucks, many had questions concerning the whereabouts of the star player. Now the word comes that Manuel suffered an injury on his shooting hand in a workout preceding the last two games, and the injury could keep him out through next week, and possibly into Sectionals. Manuel is the leading scorer for the 12-5 Hornets, who are one of the top teams in the 3A class. In his absence, players such as Andre Hampton and PJ Boutte have had to up their scoring to pick up the slack. Check the link below for more details on Manuel's injury.
