Cody Zeller Update

According to various sources across the state, Washington High School sophomore Cody Zeller, a 6'8 forward, has been offered a scholarship by Indiana University head coach Tom Crean. The IU head honcho was recently in Washington at the famed "Hatchet House" to see Cody's then-number two ranked team take on the then and current number one Princeton Tigers. I believe Crean's visit included more than just seeing Zeller, as Princeton has a number of outstanding young players, but it did impress Crean enough to make the offer to the 2011 standout. Indiana already has a verbal commitment from Highland (AZ) High School sophomore combo-guard Matt Carlino, who is a virtual consensus top-50 player in his class, and it now appears that Zeller is IU's other big priority for 2011. Congrats to Cody on a big achievement so early in his playing career!
