Jerry Meyer Gives Indiana Kids Love

One of the bosses of Rivals recruiting service, Jerry Meyer, has a weekly feature in which he answers readers' emails about nation-wide recruits. This past week, he answered a question concerning what kind of immediate impact the current IU recruits, including Bloomington South's Jordan Hulls and Tipton's Derek Elston, will have on IU's team next year. Check out the link to see Meyer's analysis of these two Indiana natives!

Do you have any insight on Donnie Hale from New Albany? Have you seen him? Whats your opinion on him? Hear anything regarding his recruitment?

Donnie Hale is a stud. I've seen him play. He needs to work on his face-up game. He's super long, but he's only about 6'7. Good motor and obviously plays for a winning program, which is always good. I've heard he really likes Purdue, but there may not be a scholarship for him. The same holds true to a lesser degree for IU. I think Xavier has a lot of interest in him.

I think you should do a write up on him. I would love to hear from him. Ever do a phone interview lol:)
I find it very intriguing how his recruitment is going. There would be alot I would like to ask the kid. Including if he has heard from Slick Rick down there in his backyard.
