LaLumiere Starts Tournament Today

The LaPorte LaLumiere Lakers (8-1) begin the four day Elgin Tournament today with a 2:15 game against Walther Lutheran. The Walther Broncos (4-4) are a team from Melrose Park, IL, led by senior guard Patrell Green and junior guard Joe Lomnicki. The Lakers should be able to handle the Broncos with their lineup featuring multiple high-level D1 recruits, including seniors Rapheal Davis (Purdue), Hanner Mosquera-Perea (IU), Obij Aget (New Mexico), Jay Simpson (Purdue), and Bobo Drummond (S. Illinois). The tournament runs through Thursday, and the Lakers will play each day. Check back for updates throughout the week on LaLu!

Another Top Game

Evansville Bosse (3-1) vs. Gibson Southern (3-1)

The Bosse Bulldogs led by senior Jalen Pendleton and sophomore Jaquan Lyle look to keep rolling versus Gibson Southern, a bit of a surprise at 3-1. Bosse has been putting up points in bunches; will Southern be able to slow them?
