Game Highlights: 12/3

Here are some looks at the top games of the day, as previously profiled by P-Hoops! Some amazing action and stat lines!

1. Oak Hill (VA) 77 - LaPorte LaLumiere 59

Oak Hill's depth and playmaking guards were too much for LaLu to handle. Former North Central star D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera led the way for Oak Hill with 25 points. IU signee Hanner Mosquera-Perea led the Lakers with 15 points, but had only three rebounds, which is very low output for him. Indiana head coach Tom Crean was in attendance to see his guy Hanner, as well as to recruit and see others like Oak Hill's RJ Curington. Maybe to scout future opponenets Rapheal Davis, Jay Simpson, and AJ Hammons (Purdue recruits). Hammons won game MVP honors.

2. Hamilton Southeastern 71 - Pendleton Heights 53

The Royals were simply too much tonight for the Arabins, although Pendleton Heights can look forward to a rematch later this season in the Hall of Fame tourney. Jaccobby Bledsoe led the way for HSE with 20 points, while Gary Harris had 16 points. Butler recruit Kellen Dunham was slowed off his pace of over 38 points per game, but he still but up and impressive 23 in the loss. Brogan Gary added 17 points for the Arabians.

3. Cathedral 78 - Broad Ripple 60

The Irish stormed back for an 18 point win after trailing at one point 43-39. Cathedral was led by Saint Louis recruit Jared Drew's 18 points and seven rebounds, while IU recruit Collin Hartman had 13 points and nine boards, to go along with some tough defense. Freshman Jalen Coleman ran the show and played beyond his years, scoring 15 points for the Irish. Indiana signee Ron Patterson scored 26 points in the loss. The Rockets were playing shorthanded, losing Aaron Payne prior to the game with an injury.

4. Ft. Wayne Luers 82 - Mishawaka Marian 67

Super soph James Blackmon, Jr. stole the show with 26 points and six rebounds. He's headed to IU and taking his silky stroke with him. Marian was led by junior Demetrius Jackson's 19 points, six assists, and five rebounds. His teammates left him hanging on several occasions, or he could have had several more dimes.

5. Kokomo 72 - Fishers 68 OT

Kokomo gritted out a tough win in overtime against the Tigers. Still trying to find stats.
