Game Highlights: 12/2

Beneath this post are the top games P-Hoops profiled earlier this week, but here are some other highlights of note across the state.

* RJ Hunter scored 22 points while Johntae Rutherford and Zavier Turner both scored 13 points as Pike knocked pff Ben Davis 65-57.

* Lawrence North destroyed Terre Haute South 81-44. Petey Balls led the Wildcats with 13 points, while Eron Harris added 12 points. Purdue recruit Basil Smotherman had six points.

* Center Grove beat Southport 75-49 behind 25 points from Joe Reed. Southports Kellon Thomas had 23 points, while Michael Ramey added 16 points.

* Guerin Catholic beat Hamilton Heights 58-49 despite 2o points from Alex Etherington, younger brother of IU's Austin Etherington.

* Fishers beat Brownsburg 65-51 behind 15 points from JP Pena, 14 points from Jaylon Brown, 12 points from Joe Retic, and seven from big man Tyler Alderman.

* Noblesville beat Carmel 65-57. Big man Daniel Purvlicis had 19 points in the win.

Avon beat Danville 79-64 behind 26 points from Austin Burgett and 20 points from Lance Magee.

* Munster beat Hammond 57-45 behind 22 points and 13 boards from 6'6 junior Nate Bubash.

* As stated above, Lake Central beat Valpo, but as an add on, Glenn Robinson III added 16 points to go along with the 25 from Tyler Wideman. Andrew Kittridge had 10 points for the Vikings.

* Merrillville beat Highland 66-58. Junior wing BJ Jenkins had 31 points, going 8-10 from three point range.
