Games of the Day: Two for Tuesday 12/6

There aren't a ton of games with big implications today, but a few do stand out. Of specific note are two for Tuesday the sixth of December.

1. Guerin Catholic (2-0) at Broad Ripple (1-1)
Guerin is off to a fast start with a high paced, high scoring offense. They thumped Elwood to open the season and best a quality Hamilton Heights team handily. Broad Ripple lost a hotly contested matchup against 4A power Cathedral last week in which the Irish pulled away at the end. IU recruit Ron Patterson is averaging over 20 points per game, and senior wing Mo Cross is also a player of note for the Rockets. I expect Broad Ripple to rebound at home and use their athleticism to defeat Guerin.

2. Ft. Wayne Northrop (2-0) at Carroll (0-3)

Carroll is much better than their record suggests, but this will be a tall task. Defeating Northrop and coach Barak Coolman may be too much to ask, especially considering the Bruins are led by junior point guard Bryson Scott, a Purdue recruit who way be the best in the class of 2013. His brother Brenton is also a great athlete with a potential D1 basketball future. Look for Northrop to move to 3-0 in this one.
