One of the best juniors in the state is, without a doubt, North Central shooting guard and Purdue recruit Terone Johnson. This class of 2010 standout and his 21-1 Panthers squad begins Sectional play this Tuesday against Cathedral, a 20-2 team ranked in the top ten in 4A and featuring another future Boiler in Kelsey Barlow.
The top sophomore in Indiana may very well be Pike point guard Marquis Teague, a player who has offers from a bevy of schools locally and across the nation, including IU, Purdue, Louisville, and Wake Forest, where his brother Jeff currently plays. Pike has had a roller coaster of a season, including big wins, tough losses, and a suspension of Teague for a purported attitude issue which included his being on the receiving end of technical fouls.
Here are some nice videos on Terone and Marquis that the Indy Star recently put out. You'll have to navigate a bit. Click the link, and then click the icon saying "High School Sports" and you'll be bale to view the video. Enjoy!
