This Saturday the 13th, I will be in attendance at the Southport tournament to see and scout several games, including the North Central vs. Lafayette Jeff game and the Lawrence North vs. Ft. Wayne Bishop Luers game. I'll specifically be looking at such players as NC's freshman sensation D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera, Jeff's Jesse Berry, several LN studs, including uncommitted sophs Ryan Taylor and Michael Chandler, and Luers five star forward DeShaun Thomas. Other games of interest include Howe vs. Marion and Perry Meridian vs. Brownsburg. Also, fresh off of their defeat of #2 nationally rated Chicago Whitney Young, the Heritage Christian girls team will face off with Hamilton Southeastern in the early game.
