As promised, P-Hoops will now turn to the class of 2010 in Indiana, a class with a lot of high end talent, but with seemingly not as much quality depth as the previous class. These hoopsters who are about to be seniors still have a lot to prove, but clearly have a lot going for them as well. These rankings are based on their junior seasons in high school and will definitely shift some after the summer AAU circuit. I have ranked the top 25 kids in the class and have also included a watch list, which is in positional order. Also, note that the class rankings are now included in the "Links" section to the right of the page for easy access anytime you want to browse. Without further ado, here is the P-Hoops 2010 Class Rankings!

Feel free to comment or leave a post about someone I've potentially overlooked. I am not opposed to adding worthy candidates to the watch list if I've simply blanked mentally. Check back later this week for the P-Hoops 2011 and 2012 Class Rankings.

branden dawson is 2011
Brandon Dawson and Alex Pritchett are in class of 2011
i woke up this morning on spring break thinking, wait, did i put dawson as a junior? changing it now...
thanks.
Russell Byrd is no way top 10, he is over his head at MSU
It's Mitchell Patton for 2010 center to watch. Not Michael.
6-7 240 Parker Stouffer @ Southwood...his buddy told me he has 2-3 offers from NAIA's now
Ethan Jacobs is a 7' Senior to be at Tipton who really came on towards the end of this season and is starting to garner a ton of DI attention. He is playing on the same AAU team as Deshaun Thomas and Marquies Teague.
Here is a sleeper for you... unnoticed till now... but with a coaches eye, he is going to be very good. Mt Vernon has a 2010 player who did not see near as much time as he should have (due to a senior starter)... he is about 6'6" now, and likely to be 6'9 or 10... and he is a point guard. He has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. He needs to improve his shooting, but he is a good shooter. He will lead a strong Mt Vernon team next year (they would have gone further had they utilized him more this year). The best player on a team that will make some noise next year... his name is Jake Stafford.
Donnie Hale at #6? You're kidding right? This kid has NO outside shot, not handles, no right hand at all, and can't make a pass to save him? Grant you he's tall and long, but is that all that matters anymore? He's a player to watch for sure, but over hyped by his high school Coach and in no way #6 in the State!
is Isenbarger really 6'5"? when I passed the torch onto him last year he was only 6'2.5"
Dude you know nothing.J.MANUEL IS A top 5 player in his class,K.Smith over R.ROSS PLEASE.Look at the players you have over A.Hampton state leader in made 3pters(NBA range).J.Stamper is at Carmel.Look where you have A.Boutte(2011)state assist leader. You don't really know the talent pool in INDY.J.Berry & X.Jones should be higher on your list. You got to consider heart or toughness as part of your selection process.Don't use other peoples rankings and switch a few players around, learn the players before you start ranking them.
jake kitchell is not that good..truly
hes in a conference where the average player guarding him (or average center rather) is 6'4" 185...the fact he is 6'9 230 helps A LOT
he is an amazing talent for the 1A high school level, and has a great all around game (dribbling, passing and so on) but i doubt would make all-conference anywhere on a 4A team
Im sry, but I would have to disagree with the last post. If you doubt Jake Kitchell's ability to play, then you need to see him play on his AAU team. Sure, his high school conference is weak, and people doubt him, because of the lack of people that are able to guard him, but he is doing great with his AAU team and at the elite camps. So, dont judge someone because of the conference he plays in. There isn't anyone in the Porter County Conference that is even close to his ability level, including on his team, and it is hard for him to carry the whole team when they arent up to his ability level. enough said he is a GREAT player
James Stamper is garbage
